DID YOU KNOW? Commonwealth of Virginia Individual Income Tax Return

As a result of legislation passed by the 2001 Virginia General Assembly (58.1-346.17 of the Code of Virginia) taxpayers may contribute to an eligible public school foundation even if the taxpayer is not receiving a refund or if the taxpayer is receiving a refund, the amount of contribution may exceed the amount of the refund. Taxpayers are provided this voluntary contribution by a check-off on individual income tax return.
